Black Panthers believed that viloence would solve segregation and also that the white man was the devil. They protected minorites being discriminated by authorities and the U.S. government.

They helped alittle by Showing black people how to fight against racism and were taught not to be pushed around by anyone. But they didn't help at all with the civil rights movement.
